Our Coverage & Promise

We're building this couch — frameless, all-foam, no wood frame, no springs — to hold its shape well beyond what a bargain "sofa in a box" typically manages. This page is the plain-language version of what we intend that coverage to mean, before the exact terms are locked in.

Final coverage length and complete terms are being finalized and will be posted here.

What's covered

• Foam sag beyond normal wear. If a cushion's foam loses significant height under normal household use — beyond ordinary softening — that's covered.
• Connector failures. If a modular fastener between modules breaks or fails to hold modules together under normal use, that's covered.
• Cover seam defects. If a seam on a removable cover fails due to a manufacturing defect (not wear, not misuse), that's covered.

What's not covered

• Stains, spills, or discoloration (your cover is removable — see Shipping & Returns and care instructions for washing guidance)
• Pet damage, including scratching, chewing, or accidents
• Commercial, rental, or non-household use
• Damage from improper assembly, moving, or misuse
• Normal cosmetic wear that doesn't affect structure or support

How a claim works

We designed this warranty around the fact that our couch is modular, and that's an advantage when something goes wrong.

1. Send us photos. Email or use our claims form with photos of the affected module and a short description of the issue.
2. We review it. We review each claim promptly and follow up by email.
3. We ship a replacement module. If your claim is approved, we ship a replacement for just the affected module — not the entire couch. You never have to box up and return the whole sofa.

That last part matters. Because Boneless Couch Living is modular, a warranty claim on one cushion or one connector doesn't mean disassembling and shipping back your whole living room. We fix the part that broke.

Transferability

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to a subsequent owner (for example, if you sell or give away your couch).

What we're accountable to

The foam density work we're doing — measuring it, testing it, and publishing verified results rather than a rounded-up number — is what this coverage will ultimately be built on. If you want the engineering reasoning behind why foam density matters, read Why Ours Lasts.
