Built as foam over a steel spring core, with no wood frame. The spring core gives a firmer, more conventional sit than an all-foam piece, and it still ships vacuum-compressed with nothing to assemble. It expands over about 72 hours once unboxed — usable within a few hours — so open it in the room where it will live.

It ships by UPS or FedEx ground, typically 5–10 business days in transit.
